Our S. PneumoStrip is based on the reverse-hybridization technique that allows for the identification of 76 pneumococcal serotypes according to their cps gene cluster sequences.
This test has been used in a study made by the Microbiological Department, Hospital Universitario Donostia-Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Biodonostia, in San Sebastian – Spain, together with the Biomedical Research Center Network for Respiratory Diseases in Madrid – Spain.
