Last February, 20th we were visited by some students of the science group from the Colegio Alemán, here in Zaragoza.
At a crucial stage like high school is, where the bunch of options available to build their futures seems a bit confuse and also chillingly defining, sometimes its easy to miss the importance of loving your work. For this reason, here in OPERON wanted to give them the opportunity to learn more about the reality behind the daily job in a biotechnological company leaded by dedication and curiosity since its beginning.
During the visit, the students could find out more about the different academic origins between the OPERON team, showing the flexibility that different skills offers nowadays. They also made a tour guide through our facilities, getting the opportunity to make an approach to our products thanks to the personalised DEMOS performed by our product specialists.
We hope this activity inspires and helps them to keep in mind what Steve Jobs said some years ago: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do”.
